It has been brought to my attention that MoparMarket.com 'wanted' ads have been contacted via individuals that are obviously scammers. These emails claim to be able to service the wanted ads from the United Kingdom, this statement alone should ring alarm bells. The emails are coming from persons named Phillip Howard (phillipmonty1@gmail.com) & Mike Venable (mikevenable18@yahoo.com). Ignoring these individuals is most likely the best defense.
Unless you've had your head in the sand, you should know by now that there is a new Australian magazine catering for our hobby, 'Chrysler Action'. I purchased my copy from the local newsagents and worth supporting with great vehicle content and overall magazine design. I wish them all the best and extend my support.
I would like to resolve a question that has been put to me relating to this new publication. I have been contacted on several occasions by PP&R customers and MoparMarket.com readers querying why there is no advertising from PP&R or MoparMarket.com. The truth is, we have not been contacted to do so and all efforts to do so have led nowhere. We are extremely pleased that there is an all new read for the Australian Mopar enthusiast and although it seems that advertising support is not being made available to us, our support for the magazine will not be hindered.

Yeah, yeah, I know.... I am late ! The annual 'Chryslers On The Murray' car show seemed to be a great success. We attended with the 'Pentastar Parts & Restorations' trade display as we have done for the past two years. I have to say that this is certainly a different way to see the show. From the time we get there to packup, we are flat-out talking to enthusiasts and don't usually get a chance to see the cars ! I did however get a chance to see a few as we made time to dyno Charlie's new 300c Touring SRT8. A very respectable 325rwhp later I caught an eyeball of some of the cars that attended the show. It is fair to say that not only is the quantity of cars higher than previous years, but the quality of cars is outstanding.
PP&R restoration services had a great turnout in the trophy department, with two first places & a runner-up in their respected classes. (Marks' 1970 Plymouth Barracuda / Ian's 1966 VC V8 Sedan / Ross's Valiant Charger R/T 2-BBL). Sure, I may be a little biased but I really did think that these cars were standouts so the accolades they received were a earned. Congratulations guys.
I would like to thank the organisers for another great turnout and look forward to 2010 in the new location.
